PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film having a surface which has fine structures and adhere to various materials easily and strongly without using an adhesive.SOLUTION: A porous film 11 is formed by flow casting a solution comprising a hydrophobic polymeric compound and a catechol group-containing compound dissolved in a solvent on a flow casting belt 31 to form a flow cast film 24, condensing dew on an exposed surface of the flow cast film 24, and evaporating the solvent and condensed water droplets from the flow cast film 24. The porous film 11 is one of a so-called honeycomb structure having a plurality of pores 12 on one surface of the film. Each of the pores 12 has shape and size approximately uniform to each other, and the plurality of pores 12 are arranged regularly with a uniform pitch. The catechol group-containing compound is distributed unevenly in the porous film 11, and, in the porous film 11, the film surface on the side having each pore 12 is a functional surface 13 having an adhesive function.
