This spacer (10) configuring an implant assembly (12) is provided with an expandably folded outer balloon (24), and an inner balloon (22) which is expandably folded and removably inserted into the outer balloon (24). The inner balloon (22) expands with the introduction of an expansion fluid (70) having a viscosity lower than that of a filling material (74) introduced into the outer balloon (24), and the outer balloon (24) expands with expansion of the inner balloon (22).
