<p>An electronic thermometer configured such that the number of operation switches can be minimized and the number of user operations reduced. This electronic thermometer comprises: a determination means that determines whether or not calculation of body temperature data has ended normally; an output means that outputs an indication that the calculation ended normally, if a determination is made by the determination means that the calculation ended normally; a deciding means that decides whether or not the electronic thermometer has become detached from a measurement site on a subject, on the basis of change in temperature data measured after said output was started by the output means; and an execution means that executes a prescribed processing without receiving an instruction from the user, if a decision is made by the deciding means that the electronic thermometer has become detached.</p> |
