PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for switched reluctance motor (hereinafter referred to as "SR motor") capable of appropriately suppressing generation of harmonic iron loss, vibration and noise of an SR motor.SOLUTION: The controller for SR motor generates a modulation wave α¥ as a command voltage of a coil 22¥(¥=u,v,w) with a motor, where the modulation wave α¥ is a waveform including a sine waveform and a zero voltage waveform. For control of an application voltage of the coil 22¥ to a command voltage, the controller on-off operates an upper arm switching element S¥p and a lower arm switching element S¥n by pulse duration modulation based on magnitude comparison of the modulation wave α¥ and a carrier signal. |
