<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of issuing a precise return guide notification through a portable terminal such as smart phone considering traveling time from present position of a user to a return point of a rental car.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle navigation apparatus 2 includes: a communication section 12 capable of communicating with a smart phone 3; a navigation unit 8 that detects a stoppage of a vehicle; and a control section 9 that transmits a piece of stoppage information concerning the stoppage via the communication section 12 to the smart phone 3. Arriving at his/her destination, when a user leaves a rental car, a piece of information on stop positions and the route of the car can be transmitted to the smart phone 3 of the user. Since the navigation function can be emigrated to the smart phone 3, searching of a route from a present position to a return point of the car via stop positions is possible.</p> |
