<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cowl side trim attachment structure difficult to detach from a vehicle panel even if strong load is applied from a vehicle width direction and excellent in assembly workability.SOLUTION: A cowl side trim attachment structure 1 of the present invention comprises: a vehicle panel 2 including a floor panel 6 and a side sill panel 7; a carpet 3 including a floor portion 3a and a side portion 3b; and a cowl side trim 4 attached to the vehicle panel 2 so as to cover the side portion 3b from within a vehicle cabin. A spacer 20 is provided between an upper surface portion 19 of the side sill panel 7 and the side portion 3b of the carpet 3. An insertion portion 23 is provided in the spacer 20 so that an insertion claw 10 provided on the cowl side trim 4 is inserted into the insertion portion 23, and so that the insertion portion 23 restricts moving of the cowl side trim 4 in a vehicle width direction P. An opening portion 24 exposing the insertion portion 23 and a cabin inner side edge 20a of the insertion portion 23 and the spacer 20 is provided in the side portion 3b of the carpet 3.</p> |
