SANDWICH LAMINATE, SANDWICH STRUCTURE AND UNIFIED MOLDED PRODUCT USING SAME AND PROCESSES FOR PRODUCING BOTH

A sandwich laminate in which a sheet-shaped intermediate base material obtained by impregnating a mat of reinforcing fiber with a thermoplastic resin is used as a core-forming layer and a sheet-shaped intermediate base material obtained by impregnating either a mat of reinforcing fiber or a continuous reinforcing fiber with a thermoplastic resin is used as a skin-forming layer, wherein: at least the sheet-shaped intermediate base material used as a core-forming layer exhibits thermal expandability; the working temperature region of the thermoplastic resin (A) constituting a skin-forming layer and that of the thermoplastic resin (B) constituting a core-forming layer overlap each other over a temperature range of overlap of at least 5ºC; and both working temperature regions are temperature ranges such that the thermoplastic resin (A) does not melt at the lower limit of working temperature of the thermoplastic resin (B). A sandwich structure suitably obtained using said sandwich laminate; a unified molded product; and processes for producing both.
