PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a modified conjugated dienic rubber capable of yielding a crosslinked rubber object excellent in terms of heat generation abatement and wet grippability.SOLUTION: The provided method for manufacturing a modified conjugated dienic rubber includes a first step of obtaining, by polymerizing a compound expressed by the following general formula (1) by using a polymerization initiator, an active terminal-containing polymer block of the compound expressed by the following general formula (1), a second step of obtaining, by polymerizing a monomer(s) including at least a conjugated dienic compound with the active terminal of the polymer block, an active terminal-containing conjugated dienic polymer, and a third step of reacting, with the active terminal of the active terminal-containing conjugated dienic polymer, a silane compound possessing a functional group reactive with the active terminal: (in the general formula (1), X is a protective group for a hydroxyl group). |
