A HUD device (1)includes: a housing casing (6); a combiner (3); a shutter (7); a shutter moving mechanism (82); and a drive motor (81). The shutter (7) includes an upper shutter member (71) and a lower shutter member (72) slidably engaged with each other. The shutter moving mechanism (82) includes a shutter arm (88), a link arm (90) linked with the shutter arm (88) thus forming a link mechanism, and a guide plate (92) formed with a first guide groove (92a, 92b) and a second guide groove (92c) guiding the movement of the upper and lower shutter members (71, 72). The shutter moving mechanism (82) is configured to move the link arm (90) in accordance with rotation of the shutter arm (88) so that the pair of shutter members (71, 72) can be moved between a closed position and an open position while an overlapping width of the members is shifted. In this way, an opening portion on an upper surface of the housing casing for ejecting or retracting a reflector plate can be closed with the shutter of compact configuration. |
