PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating shaft seal ring made of iron-based sintered alloy which has heat resistance and wear resistance permitting application to a turbocharger for automobile engine, and has low decline percentage of tension, and to provide a manufacturing method of the rotating shaft seal ring made of iron-based sintered alloy.SOLUTION: Material composition of iron-based sintered alloy used for a rotating shaft seal ring is set as a composition respectively presented by mass%, of 10 to 20% of Cr, 3 to 10% of Mo, 8 to 18% of Co, 0.2 to 1.0% of V, 0.05 to 0.25% of C and a balance of Fe and inevitable impurities and, by ageing treatment, is turned to be a texture in which fine intermetallic compound or carbide is deposited and dispersed, thereby, can unite heat resistance and wear resistance and has a low decline percentage of tension. |
