PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge head which reduces the costs while having functions equivalent to a conventional liquid discharge head in at least given portions.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head discharges a liquid flowing in a liquid passage from a nozzle hole and includes: a nozzle plate where the nozzle hole is formed; and a passage member where a pressure chamber forming a part of the liquid passage and in which pressure changes occur and a first passage for limiting an amount of the liquid flowing into the pressure chamber are formed. The pressure chamber and the first passage in the passage member are integrally formed by a ceramic.
