PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar shading device capable of easily and greatly changing a lower limit position of a solar shading material.SOLUTION: A solar shading material lifting device of the present invention includes: a head box; a winding shaft that is housed in the head box and that lifts and lowers a solar shading material by rotation; a drive shaft that rotates the winding shaft; a limit unit that regulates the rotation of the drive shaft when the solar shading material reaches a lower limit position; and a connection and separation part that can connect/separate the limit unit to/from the drive shaft.
