PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing artificial stone material by placing to a yard a mixture of water and a raw material mainly consisting of steel slag, dredge soil and blast furnace slag fine powder and letting it hardened by hydration, and by rough crushing the hydration-solidified body obtained, that is capable of increasing the product yield without impairing its economy and of producing the artificial stone material with high productivity and at low cost.SOLUTION: The method includes placing the mixture to a yard, followed by covering the top surface of the placed material with hydrated dredge soil layer, and letting the placed material cured in that state. Covering the top surface of the placed material with hydrated dredge soil layer (water-retaining layer) having high water retention will enable suppressing the drying of the upper layer part of the placed material during curing, reducing the occurrence of strength development defect parts, increasing the product yield and improving the productivity. Also, as dredge soil can be utilized as the water-retaining layer, the method can be implemented at low cost. |
