<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information acquisition device capable of properly acquiring distance information, even in an area where a light-receiving optical system cannot receive a dot pattern due to parallax and to provide an object detector mounted with the information acquisition device.SOLUTION: An information acquisition device 1 includes a projection optical system 100, a light-receiving optical system 200, a memory 26 holding a reference image captured by the light-receiving optical system 200, when a reference surface is irradiated with laser light, and a distance acquisition part 21c setting a segment area in an actually measured image captured by the light-receiving optical system 200, in actual measurement and collating the reference image with a dot in the segment area, to acquire information on a distance in a position in a target area corresponding to the segment area. The dot pattern of the reference image is collated with the dot in the segment area of the actually measured image, so that even in the area where the light-receiving optical system 200 cannot receive the dot pattern due to the parallax, the distance information can be properly acquired.</p> |
