<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organopolysiloxane emulsion further inhibiting and reducing formation of a cyclic siloxane oligomer contained in organopolysiloxane by emulsion polymerization.SOLUTION: There is provided an organopolysiloxane emulsion containing (A) diorganopolysiloxane represented by the formula (1) and having contents of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and decamethylcyclopentasiloxane of each 1,000 ppm or less, (B) only alkyl sulfate ester salt as a surfactant, (C) polyhydric alcohol having 6 or less carbon atoms, and (D) water, obtained by emulsion polymerization of a mixture having the blending amount of the (C) component of 1 to 15 mass%, and having contents of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and decamethylcyclopentasiloxane in organopolysiloxane after the emulsion polymerization of each 10,000 ppm or less. H-[O-Si(R)]-OH (1), where Ris monovalent hydrocarbon group and n is 5≤n≤100.</p> |
