The present invention relates to a precursor for producing lithium-rich cathode active material, and a lithium-rich cathode active material produced by means of same, and more specifically, to a new precursor for producing lithium-rich cathode active material, and a lithium-rich cathode active material produced by means of same, in which problems with conventional lithium-rich cathode active material are mitigated to significantly improve capacity and life-span characteristics.
