Provided are materials and methods for gene expression, which are capable of driving and/or regulating the expression of an operably linked nucleic acid in a plant without causing any negative pleiotropic effect. Also provided are compositions and methods to increase seed number and/or yield in a plant when compared to a wild-type control plant.
