<p>A liquid supply assembly (30) for use with a pad printing system, whereby a liquid is deposited from the liquid supply assembly (30) in a receiving region on a plate (20) and any excess of the liquid in the receiving region is scraped from the plate (20) by the liquid supply assembly (30). The liquid supply assembly (30) employs a reusable cup (40), a disposable cup insert (50) and a scraping element (60). As assembled, the reusable cup (40) includes a reusable liquid reservoir (44), the disposable cup insert (50) includes a temporary liquid reservoir (54) holding the liquid within the reusable liquid reservoir (44), and the scraping element (60) includes a conduit (61) facilitating allow of the liquid held by the temporary liquid reservoir (54) through the conduit (61) to the plate (20).</p> |
