PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio system for transmitting a radio audio stream to a hearing system.SOLUTION: An audio system 2 includes a communication unit 4 and a radio system. A radio system 8 includes a plurality of stationary transmitter units 10 for transmitting at least a first audio stream 16 together with first audio identification data indicative of the first audio stream, and for transmitting a second audio stream 16' together with second audio identification data indicative of the second audio stream. The communication unit includes the steps of: receiving a request indicative of a voice track from a hearing system 6; determining the configuration data of the hearing system on the basis of the request indicative of the voice track; and transmitting to the hearing system the configuration data so as to enable the hearing system to receive one of the first audio stream and the second audio stream representing the voice track indicated in the request.
