PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving the power cycling characteristics of a mobile device.SOLUTION: A mobile device includes a volatile memory 240, a non-volatile memory 250, a memory controller 220 coupled to the volatile memory, and a processor 210 coupled to the memory controller. The processor addresses the volatile memory during normal operation. The mobile device further includes a shadow copy controller, which is coupled to the non-volatile memory and the memory controller and copies information stored in a designated portion of the volatile memory into the non-volatile memory. |
