<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve assembly of a fuel injection valve of light-weight, having high rigidity and high opening/closing responsiveness.SOLUTION: In a valve assembly of a fuel injection valve composed of a valve element 13 interacting with a valve seat 7 of a valve housing 3, a connection rod 14 connected to a rear end of the valve element 13, and a movable core 12 connected to a rear end of the connection rod 14 and opposed to a suction face 5a of a fixed core 5, a plurality of longitudinal ribs 14a are formed on an outer peripheral face of the connection rod 14 in a state of being extended in its axial direction, a group of the longitudinal ribs 14a and end faces of the valve element 13 and the movable core 12 connected to end portions of the group of longitudinal ribs 14a are projection-welded to each other, and a plurality of longitudinal grooves 14b defined among the plurality of longitudinal ribs 14a are applied as fuel passages.</p> |
