This paper sheet storage, which is mounted in a paper sheet handling device and performs the accumulation and feed-out of paper sheets, is provided with: a plurality of paper sheet housing sections that house paper sheets within the paper sheet storage; a paper sheet exit/entrance section that is formed at the outer surface of the paper sheet storage and is for paper sheets to exit/enter between the inside and outside of the paper sheet storage; and a sorting mechanism that is formed at the paper sheet exit/entrance section and that sorts transported paper sheets transported from the outside of the paper sheet storage to the paper sheet exit/entrance to one paper sheet housing section of the plurality of paper sheet housing sections. |
