PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus able to compensate for the wasted time of a control target and for variation in wasted time. SOLUTION: A control section 8 feed-back-controls an inverter 2 by using the information of an X-ray tube transmitted to an immovable section 9 from a rotary section 10 by use of transmitting sections 20 and 21. A Smith estimating unit 80 includes a control target model circuit 81 and a wasted-time model circuit 84. A delay-time calculating section 85 calculates the wasted time caused by the transmission of the information of a radiating section by the transmitting sections 20 and 21, and compensates for the wasted time of the wasted-time model circuit. Thus, even in the case where the transmitting section carries out digital transmission with an error correction function, control using a Smith method can be exerted by compensating for delay time resulting from error correction made by the error correction function.
