<p>A display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a display unit, a signal processing unit which processes an image signal to be displayed on the display unit as an image, a communication unit which communicates with an external network, and a control unit which performs an initial setting service to successively supply a plurality of setting steps to control a plurality of preset functions of the display device to a user, elicits the installation area of the display unit based on network information if the network information for communication between the communication unit and the external network when the initial setting service is performed, and automatically performs at least part of setting steps based on the elicited area information.</p> |
