The present invention relates to an item selecting method using a touch screen. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the item selecting method using a touch screen comprises the following steps: an item display step of displaying a plurality of items in each icon on a touch screen; a touch signal receiving step of receiving touch signals including touch location information on the touch screen; and a selection item determining step of computing at least one selection item among the multiple items when the touch signal is received. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the item selecting system comprises: a touch screen including a displaying unit for displaying multiple items in each icon and an input unit for outputting coordinate data by touch, overlapped with the displaying unit; a memory unit for storing content; and a control unit operated by a program set to control the memory unit and displaying unit of the touch screen based on the touch signals received via the input unit of the touch screen.
