Measurement Method and Apparatus for Measuring Curvature of Lane Using Behavior of Preceding Vehicle

Disclosed are a method and a device for measuring the curvature of a driving lane using the movement of a preceding vehicle. The device for measuring curvature includes an object extraction unit which detects at least one preceding vehicle from image data received from an imaging device; a characteristic extraction unit which extracts the dynamic characteristics of at least one preceding vehicle detected by the object extraction unit; and a curvature radius calculation unit which calculates curvature radius based on the dynamic characteristics extracted by the characteristic extraction unit.
