<p>A method of applying a photocurable lining to a downhole surface 31 of a wellbore includes skimming an applicator 32 over the surface and delivering a porous tape 14 between the applicator and the surface 31. A photocurable liquid composition is provided to impregnate the tape and light 42 in the wavelength 100nm to 1500nm is directed onto the curable composition so as to initiate curing of the composition and thereby attach the tape 14 to the downhole surface 31.</p> |
