A cradle (shoe) 22' for supporting an insect trap 10. The insect trap comprises a base characterised in that it is adapted so as to prevent insects crawling underneath. To this end it may have a flat planar underside and an adhesive. Similarly, the cradle is adapted in the same way as the base to prevent insects crawling underneath and may comprise means (52,54 fig 3) for snap-locking another component of the trap, or a trap thereto. The insect trap contains means for supporting a chemical heat pad and a inset retention surface. |
