METHOD FOR ASYMMETRIC SYNTHESIS OF D-AMINO ACIDS USING OMEGA-TRANSAMINASE

The present invention relates to a method for synthesis of a pure optical isomer D-amino acid using a (R)-selective omega-transaminase. The (R)-selective omega-transaminase is derived from Aspergillus terreus and Aspergillus fumigatus. The present invention can purely mass produce industrially important D-amino acids optically by an asymmetric synthesis method using a (R)-selective omega-transaminase.
