Method of roll-to-roll process for the optimization of the winding using hybrid taper tension control

摘要

The present invention relates to a winding control method in a roll-to-roll process, and more specifically, to a hybrid taper tension control method for the optimization of the winding operation in the roll-to-roll process. The present invention defines main influence factors of a taper tension profile for the optimization of the winding operation in the roll-to-roll process and proposes a hybrid taper tension profile model to avoid rolls from damages such as telescoping, buckling, and cinching. The proposed model is found to be very effective through experiments.
