The present invention relates to a coiler entry side guide control system and a coiler entry side guide control method, wherein the coiler entry side guide control system may comprises: a lateral sheet movement measuring part installed at the final stand exit of a hot-finish rolling mill, and measuring the amount of the lateral movement of a steel sheet passing through the hot-finish rolling mill; a shape memory processing part storing steel sheet shape information in the heading direction of the steel sheet by collecting lateral sheet movement information transmitted from the lateral sheet movement measuring part; and a side guide control part setting a control value for a coiler entry side guide using the steel sheet shape information transmitted from the shape memory processing part, and controlling the coiler entry side guide according to the control value. |
