An apparatus and method of palletising granular material bags are provided, in which bags are placed into a tubular former 10 which has a number of compartments. A pallet 4 is located at the lower end of the former 10, then the bags are filled with granular material, after which the pallet 4 is lowered from the lower end of the former 10. This may provide a palletised set of bags which keep their shape, and do not overlap the edge of the pallet 4. The bags may be 500kg or 600kg bags. |
