<p>The present invention relates to a device for preventing opening of a vehicle door and, more specifically, to a device for preventing opening of a vehicle door, which prevents a door from opening by preventing a door opening lever interworking with an outside handle of a door from moving even if reverse inertial force is applied during a side collision. Provided is a device for preventing opening of a vehicle door includes an outside handle of a door mounted at an outer surface of a door panel; a door opening lever mounted inside the door panel to have an angular rotation to be interlocked with the outside handle of the door when the outside handle of the door is operated to open the door; and a latch cable connected to the door opening lever, wherein a separate balance weight is disposed to be in contact with an upper end portion of the door opening lever so that the balance weight can push the door opening lever outward by forward inertial force and can be solely rotated angularly toward the inside during a side collision.</p> |
