According to the present invention, an MPLS-TP network comprises: a first router set as an MEG end point (MEP) to transmit a link tracking packet by generating the link tracking packet; at least one second router set as an MEG intermediate point (MIP) to transmit a response packet for the reception of the link tracking packet to the direction of the first router by generating the response packet, and forward the link tracking packet; and a third router set as the MEP to transmit a response packet for the reception of the forwarded link tracking packet to the direction of the first router by generating the response packet. The link tracking packet and the response packet includes a first label indicating a transmission section wherein the link tracking packet and the response packet are transmitted, and a message indicating a link tracking function. The message includes a type of packet information indicating one of the link tracking packet and the response packet, a transmission path identifier indicating a label switched path (LSP) between the first and the third router; and a node identifier indicating a tunnel identifier indicating a tunnel and the router on the transmission path.
