The present invention is related to a control valve for variable-displacement compressor which obtains a large flow rate during sub valve opening in a control valve in which a main valve and a sub valve are driven by a single solenoid. The control valve according to an embodiment includes a body having a main passage for communication between a discharge chamber and a crank chamber, and a sub passage for communication between the crank chamber and a suction chamber; a main valve that is provided in the main passage; a sub valve that is provided in a sub passage; a power element that receives suction pressure of the suction chamber and generates a driving force in a main valve opening direction corresponding in size to the suction pressure; and a solenoid that generates a driving force in a main valve closing direction corresponding to a supplied current amount. When the main valve is controlled, the sub valve remains in a closed state. The sub valve is opened after the main valve is closed. A change in main valve opening area with respect to the amount of main valve body lifting from a main valve seat is smaller than a change in sub valve opening area with respect to the amount of sub valve body lifting from a sub valve seat. |
