Disclosed is a method for cold starting a fuel cell vehicle. The disclosed method for cold starting the fuel cell vehicle determines whether the vehicle is in a cold start condition when the start key of the fuel cell vehicle is on; applies the amount of current of a fuel cell, which is relatively greater than a determined reference current amount, to an air blower when the vehicle is in the cold start condition, and supercharges air to a stack using the air blower; detects the temperature of the air in the outlet end of the stack and determines whether the temperature of the air in the outlet end of the stack is greater than or equal to a reference value; and circulates the cooling water to the fuel cell by applying the current of the fuel cell to a water pump if it is determined that the temperature of the air in the outlet end of the stack is greater than and equal to the reference value. |
