The present invention provides a landing gear assembly 500 for an aircraft landing gear, the assembly comprising a steering mechanism 510 for steering at least one wheel 502 of the landing gear, a deployment mechanism 520 for moving a leg 501 of the landing gear between a stowed position and a deployed position, and an actuator 530 arranged to actuate both the steering mechanism and the deployment mechanism.
