Provided is a disposable clothing article wherein the front waist region can be reliably folded back along a folding guide. The article is a disposable clothing article comprising: a chassis (11) with a longitudinal direction Y and a width direction X, a skin-facing surface and a non-skin-facing surface, a front waist region (12), a back waist region (13) and a crotch region (14) extending in the longitudinal direction between the front and back waist regions; an absorbent core (22) extending in the longitudinal direction from the crotch region to the front and back waist regions; and a fastening system for connecting the front and back waist regions to each other; wherein the fastening system comprises: a first fastening system formed from first fastening elements (17) provided on the skin-facing surfaces of a pair of tape fastener tabs that extend away from each other from the two side edges of the back waist region in the width direction and a second fastening element (18) provided on the non-skin-facing surface of the front waist region; and a second fastening system formed from the pair of first fastening elements and a third fastening element (45) that engages with the first fastening elements when the article is used with the front waist region folded back. The absorbent core is provided with a main part (22a) that absorbs the body fluid, a front core end (22b) disposed in the front waist region and a folding guide (24) extending in the width direction between the main part and the front core end. The folding guide is provided with elastic parts (60) extending in the longitudinal direction that are attached to the adjacent sheet in an extended state so that contractile forces will act thereon. |
