A method and a system for providing medical insurance through a remote health monitoring device are disclosed. When an individual wants to purchase a medical insurance policy, the remote health monitoring device registers the individual in the medical insurance policy provided by an insurance provider. The remote health monitoring device provides a remote server of the insurance provider with statistical information and demographic information on the individual. The remote health monitoring device periodically transmits, to the remote server, medical event data and doctor diagnosis data on the individual in real time. The remote health monitoring device automatically generates a medical insurance claim on the individual and transmits the medical insurance claim to the remote server. After that, the remote server processes the medical insurance claim, based on the medical event data, the doctor diagnosis data and/or the statistical information and the demographic information. |
