A driver system 100, cooling apparatus for driver system, and method are provided. The driver system 100 includes a driven 102, a device configured to move a cooling fluid, and a shroud 118 disposed at least partially over the driven 102. The shroud 118 includes a plurality of inlet orifices 202 and a plurality of outlet orifices 304 in fluid communication with the device, and a plurality of fins 124 extending at least partially between the shroud 118 and the driver 102, at least partially in the driver 102, or both, the plurality of fins 124 being spaced and defining flowpaths therebetween, wherein the flowpaths communicate with the inlet orifices 202 and the outlet orifices 304. |
