ATTENDANCE MONITORING SYSTEM AND METHOD

An embodiment of an attendance monitoring system according to the present invention may include: multiple portable chips mounted with specific information of each student; a chip recognition device for recognizing the specific information mounted on the portable chips; and an attendance computing apparatus for receiving the specific information from the chip recognition device regularly to check the attendance of the students and recording the same. Therefore, the present invention can prevent and check the students from leaving a classroom during lectures by using an automated system and professors do not need to check the students leaving the classroom manually, thereby enhancing the efficiency of the learning.
