The objective of the present invention is to provide an electric storage device which reduces a transient deterioration. To solve the objective, the electric storage device of the present invention includes a container, a power generation element (10) received in the container, an electrolyte received in the container. The power generation element (10) includes an anode (11) which includes an anode substrate, and an anode mixture layer which is formed on the anode substrate and contains an anode active material; and a cathode (13) which includes a cathode substrate, and a cathode mixture layer which is formed on the cathode substrate and contains an cathode active material; and a separator (12) arranged between the cathode and the anode (11). In the separator (12), a stress in the pressure depth of 5% of the thickness of the cathode mixture layer is 1 MPa to 14 MPa. |
