<p>The application relates to a method, apparatus and computer readable medium for controlling a quantity of cloud-based resources utilised by a system. The method comprises determining the quantity of cloud-based resources required by a system, and adjusting the current quantity of cloud-based resources associated with the system in accordance with the determined quantity of cloud-based resources required by the system. There are further claims directed to the creation of a profile that is used to characterise the usage of resource over time and use these characteristics to predict the future utilisation of said resources.</p> |
