Disclosed is an optical axis aligning device for a camera module. The optical axis aligning device extracts distortion feature coordinates from a distorted image for aligning an optical axis photographed by a camera module, and selects the distortion feature coordinate of a minimum error by comparing the extracted distortion feature coordinates with reference feature coordinates. The optical axis aligning device quantizes the selected distortion feature coordinate, and determines that as a center coordinate. The optical axis aligning device includes a control unit transmitting the determined center coordinate to the camera module to align the optical axis of the camera module. The distortion feature coordinate compared with the reference feature coordinates is included in a predetermined pixel area of an image sensor in the camera module. Therefore, the optical axis of the camera module, which is completed by assembling an optical system without considering the optical axis aligning, can be aligned in a software method. |
