The present invention relates to an apparatus for welding flat and curved blocks of a ship. The apparatus includes a moving part and a welding part to perform a butt welding process on a portion between the blocks while moving on the blocks contacting each other. The welding part comprises a leading torch and a following torch, which are arranged in parallel at a certain distance from each other. Weaving motors, which make the leading torch and the following torch perform weaving operation, are independently connected to the leading torch and the following torch. The apparatus can form a bead in the standard size by performing a welding process once, and can perform the butt welding process.
