The present invention provides an apparatus for whip-stitching a sewing thread for a button. The apparatus for whip-stitching the sewing thread for the button (B) by using a thread (T) includes: a main body (10) including a support (12) supporting the sewn button (B); a tension adjustment unit (20) including tensioners (21, 22, 23) and a thread take-up part (25) on the path of the thread (T); a thread guide unit (30) disposed adjacent to the tension adjustment unit (20) to guide movement of the thread (T) toward the support (12); a winding unit (40) including a rotation arm (41) for winding the thread (T) on a transfer support (44) that linearly moves in a direction of the support (12); and a knot unit (50) including a separation arm (51) for forming a knot of the thread (T) on an air cylinder (54) that linearly moves in the direction of the support (12). Thus, the main parts of the apparatus and the moving path of the thread may be simplified to improve convenience in operation and maintenance, and secure reliability in operation for whip-stitching the button sewing thread, and durability. |
