Provided are a liquid crystal display device and an electronic apparatus capable of improving the response speed and reducing the transmission loss of light. The liquid crystal display device comprises a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode includes: a plurality of electrode base portions extending in a first direction; a first comb portion extended in a second direction different from the first direction and protruded in a comb shape from each of the electrode base portions by being spaced a certain distance from each other; and a second comb portion which grows to the opposite direction of the second direction and protruded in a comb shape from each of the electrode base portions by being spaced a certain distance from each other. The front ends of the first comb portion and the second comb portion extended from the adjacent electrode base portion face each other at a distance. The space between the front ends become an ineffective transmission region, and a plurality of ineffective transmission region are not continuously arranged on a line. |
