The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for determining an input coordinate on a touch panel. The method for determining the input coordinate according to the present invention comprises the steps of: detecting a first touch region from a first touch input applied on the touch panel by a touch input unit; detecting a second touch region from the second touch input applied after the first touch input; determining a final input coordinate in a range that a size of a touch region signal is greater than or equal to a threshold value using the first touch region and the second touch region. The present invention reduces errors which can occur during separation of the finger from the touch panel, thereby determining the input coordinate intended by a user as the final input coordinate. |
