The present invention relates to a compound included in a polymer electrolyte membrane for fuel cells and to a preparation method thereof. Fuel cells can be manufactured and provided by using the compound manufactured according to the compound included in the polymer electrolyte membrane for fuel cells and the preparation method thereof, whose dimensional stability, thermal stability, mechanical properties, hydrolysis stability, chemical stability and hydrogen ion conductivity are improved. Moreover, life of the fuel cell is improved thereby.
