PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of throughput of an entire system with low power consumption in even an environment where radio communication devices having different communication ranges are mixed.SOLUTION: A radio communication device comprises: notification frame transmission power control means 21 for communicating with other devices within a first range and a second range being wider than the first one and controlling power in transmitting a notification frame (notification) notifying the other device within the second range of transmission before data transmission to the other device within the first range; data transmission power control means 22 for controlling power in transmitting data to the other device within the first range; notification transmission power control detection means 31 for detecting whether or not the other device within the second range transmitting notification performs data transmission whose power is controlled by the data transmission power control means when the notification being not for its own station is received; transmission possibility determination means 24 for determining whether or not data transmission is possible during data transmission by the other device within the second range based on the detection result; and permission frame transmission power control means 23 for controlling transmission power of permitted data. |
